The transition is facilitated by a hydrostatic drive and braking system that delivers reliable performance on both tracks and uneven terrain. With an impressive working height of 14.40 meters and a lateral reach of 9.30 meters, it effortlessly reaches even hard-to-access areas.

All-wheel steering and automatic leveling make the machine particularly maneuverable and stable—ideal for working on tracks with various gauge widths, including the standard width of 1,435 mm. Whether for maintenance work on rail lines, overhead lines, bridges, or in tunnels: The RR14-EVO3 combines its versatility with a high load capacity of up to 400 kg, making it perfect for use by three people and additional equipment. With a speed of up to 19 km/h on tracks, it is also extremely efficient when traveling to remote job sites.

The RR14-EVO3 sets new standards in workplace safety. For work on uneven or sloped surfaces, the machine is equipped with automatic tower leveling, which compensates for inclines and guarantees maximum stability. For operation in electrified track areas, it features special safety precautions, including a key lock to minimize risks when working near power lines.

In addition, a negative-acting braking system ensures that the platform comes to a safe stop, even in emergency situations. Red-and-white safety lighting makes the machine highly visible at night or in poor visibility conditions. For critical applications in multi-track rail networks, the RR14-EVO3 is equipped with a 180° lock that prevents unintended movements. In the event of an emergency, an additional emergency diesel engine provides an extra layer of safety, ensuring that the platform remains operational at all times—even in the event of unexpected technical malfunctions.

The RR14-EVO3 was developed with the goal of maximizing ease of use for personnel. All essential functions of the platform can be controlled directly from the work basket. The generously sized work basket accommodates three people and equipment, which significantly simplifies the workflow. Additional controls, such as a foot switch in the basket, allow the operator to initiate machine movements without having to perform complicated hand movements.

Precise operation is ensured by a finely tuned proportional control system that enables stepless movement of the work platform. An integrated diagnostic display facilitates maintenance and directly indicates potential faults. Additional convenience features, such as all-wheel steering, a height limit switch, and an optional pantograph for catenary measurements, make operation particularly user-friendly. Optionally, the machine can be equipped with a camera system that provides the operator with improved visibility—especially when aligning with the tracks or maneuvering in tight spaces.

Crane in the Work Basket

The integrated crane function, compliant with EN 280-2:2022, allows for the use of a 200-kg crane directly in the work basket. Two people can be in the basket at the same time, enabling lifting and assembly work to be performed safely and efficiently at height.

The operating diagram corresponds to that of the 400-kg version, and the load capacity is reduced by only about 40 kg due to the crane function.
