Versatile Use on Rails and Roads

The RR11T is equipped with a chassis featuring a tracked undercarriage that ensures exceptional traction on all types of terrain. This innovative design ensures a low specific weight for the drive unit, enabling safe navigation over sensitive areas such as paved surfaces in track zones and access roads. The chassis also houses the rail drive system for track operations, powered by two hydraulic motors. The crawler track can be rotated 90 degrees relative to the superstructure, facilitating seamless track alignment in open areas. Its design allows for entry onto the tracks without additional tools or structural modifications. Automatic leveling enhances the machine’s agility and stability, making it ideal for use on tracks with varying gauges, including the standard gauge of 1,435 mm.

Safety for Rail Operations

All safety precautions in accordance with the DB Infra Go certification are reliably observed to ensure smooth and safe rail operations. This includes the lift height limit, which ensures that the work platform does not enter the area of the active overhead line, thereby minimizing the risk of electrical hazards. The swing limit prevents the platform from swinging into unwanted areas, thereby enhancing the safety of both operators and the surrounding area. In addition, the work platform is equipped with comprehensive safety equipment, including a first-aid kit for medical emergencies and a fire extinguisher to enable a rapid response in the event of a fire. Anchorage points in the work basket provide additional safety by allowing workers to secure themselves while on the job, which significantly reduces the risk of falls. These measures are an integral part of our commitment to the highest safety standards in rail operations.

Radio Remote Control for Convenient Operation

Winch Crane Mode

Remove the work basket to take advantage of expanded application possibilities: A version of the RR11T with a cable winch crane function is currently under development . This allows the work basket to be removed and the same cable winch used on the Spider 18.95 to be installed.

The planned solution enables lifting operations with a load capacity of approximately 250 to 300 kg and further expands the machine’s range of applications.

The RR11T is an advanced and compact two-way aerial work platform weighing 3.5 metric tons that can operate on rails up to a height of 10.5 meters and has a payload capacity of 230 kg, accounting for two people on board. Equipped with a single telescoping boom, it offers versatile applications and can be easily transported on a light-duty trailer. In addition, it features a crawler undercarriage suitable for both on-road and off-road use, a system that allows for quick switching between tracks and rail wheels, and hydraulic rotation that facilitates access to the rail. It is powered by a 10.5 kW Kubota diesel engine; if needed, the model can be equipped with lithium-ion batteries for fully electric operation.
